Flagged cases appear first
Red cases appear at the top so vets can review possible recovery concerns first. Vets can change the classification after reviewing the records.
Have they eaten? How does the wound compare with yesterday?
Owners record updates in the mini program. Vets review them in a workspace organized by day, so they can follow up when needed.

Owners authorize their phone number in the mini program to link their pets automatically, with no separate registration or password to remember. Each pet has its own recovery record.
Answer simple questions about wound redness, discharge and appetite, then add a wound photo. No typed description is needed for a routine check-in, which takes about 30 seconds.
After each check-in, owners receive an initial AI assessment. It compares today’s entry and photos with previous days to flag improvement or deterioration, with a red, amber or green classification for the vet to review.
Check-ins appear in the clinic workspace. After reviewing recovery, vets can use a prepared reply, ask the owner to bring their pet in or adjust the classification.
Owners can write a question and select “Request a vet reply.” It appears in a separate “Awaiting reply” list, where the vet can read the owner’s own words and respond.

AI groups cases by initial status. Vets review the records and decide how to follow up.
Red cases appear at the top so vets can review possible recovery concerns first. Vets can change the classification after reviewing the records.
Cases with a normal status collapse automatically to keep the list manageable. Vets can still open each case to review daily entries and photos.
A request for a vet reply stays in the awaiting-reply list even when recovery appears normal, so the owner’s question does not disappear into a collapsed group.
The incision appears abnormal and the image findings agree with the owner’s flagged responses. The example uses a cautious classification for the vet to review.
We have reviewed Orange’s record and photos. Please bring Orange in today, along with the recent recovery records, so we can examine the wound and discuss the next steps.
Example reply · Not sentThe extraction site looks much better. When can Sesame eat dry food again? They seem a little tired of canned food.Vet reply requested
This question remains visible for the vet to answer, even though recovery is marked normal.
It is good to see Sesame eating soft food. The timing for dry food depends on healing at the extraction site. I will check the surgical record before giving you a feeding plan.

Jiuling Follow-up is a separate product for clinic-led post-discharge care, with an owner mini program and a clinic workspace. NineLivesCat focuses on everyday health records for cat owners.
No. AI organizes records and flags possible risks. Vets review cases, adjust classifications and decide on care. Owners should contact their clinic directly in an emergency rather than wait for an online response.
Contact the team to discuss a pilot. As of August 2026, one Hangzhou veterinary clinic had confirmed participation and was preparing a real-case pilot. Workflow, pilot arrangements and pricing will be discussed with participating clinics.
The participating clinic provides instructions at discharge. Owners enter the Jiuling Follow-up mini program and connect their pet; they do not need access to the clinic workspace.
